Fearless Ambassadors: Strengthening our Partnership

We were delighted to visit the team at Fearless headquarters recently alongside Charlie’s Promise Trustee, Katie Hoare, marking an important step forward in our growing partnership.

We are incredibly proud to now be official Fearless Ambassadors. Having long supported the work of Fearless, this new role represents a natural and meaningful next step in strengthening our relationship. Both of our organisations share a deep commitment to preventing violence and giving young people the knowledge and confidence to make safer decisions.

During our visit, we also learned more about the vital work Fearless does to support young people. It was incredibly reassuring to see first-hand how reports are handled, and to understand the robust processes in place to ensure that information is treated with 100% anonymity. This is so important — many young people may feel scared or unsure about speaking out, but knowing they can report concerns safely and anonymously can give them the confidence to come forward, whether that’s about knife carrying or other crimes.

We had the opportunity to meet with members of the team and speak about the work ahead. We spoke openly about our experience and the lasting impact of losing Charlie, as well as our determination to help prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreak. We also discussed exciting ideas for how we can work together in the future to further strengthen our shared mission and reach even more young people.

We were grateful to spend time with such a dedicated group of individuals, including representatives from across the partnership, all united in their commitment to tackling violence and supporting safer communities.

We would like to sincerely thank the team for welcoming us and for recognising the importance of the work being carried out by Charlie’s Promise. We are very much looking forward to working even more closely together in the months and years ahead.
